Can steel and wood doors materials contribute toward earning points in the LEED v4 green building program?

Steel and wood doors do not earn LEED v4 points on their own. They can contribute indirectly by supporting Materials and Resources credits through EPDs, responsible sourcing such as recycled steel or FSC certified wood, and material ingredient disclosures. Doors may also help meet Acoustic Performance requirements, but points are awarded based on overall space performance, not individual products.
