What is laminated glass?

Laminated glass is a type of safety glass made by bonding two or more layers of glass together with an inner plastic interlayer. Laminated glass will not shatter or fall from the frame. Laminated glass is commonly used in entrance or reception areas to prevent active shooters from shooting out the glass for easy entry. Also, laminated glass is less dangerous when broken because the glass doesn’t shatter.
