Some facilities use half-colored carriers where the bottom color indicates the destination, helping staff quickly identify the correct routing and prevent delivery errors. For example, a carrier that is red on the bottom could be going to the blood bank. Note: even half-colored carriers on often clear on top so staff can easily see what’s inside the carrier before opening it.
