Construction dust is a carrier for Aspergillus and other harmful organisms, and most facilities teams end up “policing” contractors without clear, consistent structure. This session walks through how to perform and document an ICRA from start to finish: selecting the right ICRA class, installing and monitoring barriers, managing negative pressure, and safely dismantling containment in occupied spaces. Attendees leave with a practical framework to protect patients and staff before, during, and after above-ceiling and renovation work.

This workshop will show how to position Facilities Operations that owns the standard, trains contractors, and can defend the approach to Infection Prevention and surveyors.
